✅ Salt & black pepper, to taste
✅ 2 tbsp vegetable oil

✅ 1 carrot, chopped 🥕
✅ 1 celery stalk, chopped
✅ 1 tbsp tomato paste 🍅
✅ 250 ml beef broth 🍲
✅ 125 ml red wine (optional, for depth of flavor) 🍷
✅ 1 bay leaf & 1-2 cloves
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Rouladen
1️⃣ Lay the beef slices flat and season with salt and pepper.
2️⃣ Spread a thin layer of mustard over each slice.
3️⃣ Place one slice of bacon, some chopped onions, and a pickle strip on top.
4️⃣ Roll up tightly and secure with toothpicks or kitchen twine.
Step 2: Brown the Rouladen
5️⃣ Heat the oil in a pan and brown the roulades on all sides. Remove and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Gravy
6️⃣ In the same pan, sauté the carrots, celery, and remaining onions.
7️⃣ Add the tomato paste and cook for 1 minute.

Step 4: Simmer Until Tender
