Ingredients:

For the Crispy Tofu:

βœ… 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for frying or baking)

For the Peanut-Ginger Dipping Sauce:

βœ… 1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free option)
βœ… 1 teaspoon fresh ginger (grated)
βœ… 1 clove garlic (minced)
βœ… 1 teaspoon rice vinegar or lime juice
βœ… 1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey (for a touch of sweetness)
βœ… 1-2 tablespoons warm water (to adjust consistency)
βœ… Β½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional, for heat)


Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Tofu

1️⃣ Press the tofu using a clean towel or paper towels to remove excess moisture. Cut into small cubes.
2️⃣ In a bowl, toss the tofu cubes with cornstarch, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

Step 2: Cook the Tofu

3️⃣ Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
4️⃣ Add the tofu cubes and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, turning occasionally until crispy and golden brown. (Alternatively, bake at 400Β°F (200Β°C) for 25 minutes, flipping halfway.)

Step 3: Make the Peanut-Ginger Sauce

5️⃣ In a small bowl, whisk together peanut butter, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, rice vinegar, maple syrup, and warm water until smooth. Adjust the consistency with more water if needed.
